bl**dy printer

Post by gari » Thu Aug 10, 2006 9:11 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

OK then, before I throw the thing out of the window does anyone know why my 1290s has started to print smaller than the settings?
I am printing full width,12in onto 13in roll paper. print size is 30x40cm and set at 100%, not to fit paper and when I go through the print routine it all looks fine, but when I send it to the printer it starts to print 8.5 image.
odd thing is that there is almost no top border, maybe 2/3mm.
Any ideas, cos I am all out.

Please post a screenshot of the printer options dialog that shows the mini thumbnail of the page layout, I think I know the answer, but need a visual prompt to remember it :-)

A quick note for Joanne, I set up the printer yesterday as I have finished the refurb in my workroom, the printer worked fine when I put a sheet of the proof paper in, and for several sheets afterwards. Operator error maybe. Thanks for the offer of help anyhows
