Mink oil....?

I understand that I should use mink oil to care for my Ebony bellows. Is there a special sort of this I should buy or is there something more suitable?
...or am I expected to catch my own mink and put it in a apple cider press to extract all the goodness?

Normally my suggestion would be to forget about minks and their oil and get a metal camera. However, given that this would get me stoned and beaten to death with old calumet camera cases, I think I better not make this suggestion...

Well I did used to own an MPP Mk V.... rather heavy though, and rather limited back movements. The positive thing about metal cameras is their robustness. They can genuinely be said to be MATELOT PROOF!
For non-hairy, non-clumsy, non Stoker types however, it is quite safe for us to get our hands on more delicate and versatile cameras.

That's the response I came up with when Jo mentioned the post - must be something in the water (oder Schnapps, velleicht)...
As for mink oil, if you want a UK supplier, you can also try
Tandy Leather Factory for the Fiebings liguid. It's only a couple of quid postage on top AFAIR and arrived in a day or two along with a comprehensive leatherworking catalogue if you want to make anything like a holster for the egg whisk etc
The picture on the site shows the old design on the bottle but it's new stock if you order any. It seems to work OK as it's easier to get my 90mm into the bellows after I treated them...
There's also a paste / solid version of the Fiebings mink oil but now I've done mine with the liquid and a brush, it would be a pain to use the equivalence of boot polish to do them with the risks of creasing the bellows where they shouldn't be and not getting stuff into the cracks as required.
