Thanks for posting this DJ, very interesting and you have to take your hat of to David White for his dedication and using the same method as Robert Howlett (minus the deadly chems but we'll let him off that! :lol: )

I've got a friend whos writing a book on the history of a local estuary, hes asked me to take the photos for it and I was thinking of doing a similar thing to Mr White but with a 5x4 and early projection lens.
Should be an interesting project and keep me out of trouble for a while! :)

The project pales slightly when you realise just how many people are now using the Wet-plate process again. There are workshops around the world including the UK and this consequently devalues the historic re-enactment engage in here.
