Embossing stamp
I've just recently picked up (cheap!) an old company seal stamp with a view to creating my own stamp for my limited edition prints. Does any else here use one and know of anywhere that I can have a new die made?

I use one of the small hand punches to emboss my books. They are easy to use and the results are impressive.
If you scan your prints in and use photoshop you can of course add an embossing layer. There was recent discussion about this in the RPS's periodical earlier this year. You might want to contact the RPS directly about this.

Paul,
I've just joined and found something I can immediately contribute to. You could try Bolsons. Here's a link to their catalogue. http://www.bolsons.co.uk/Complete%20Brochure.pdf
I have one of their presses and they made my own design of logo stamp for me for use in the press I also bought from them. They were very helpful n guiding what was ok for a design to emboss. I emboss all of my prints just off the bottom right of the image area. Why - because I like the look of it! But the whole thing was NOT cheap. You'll have to ask if they just do the die.
