Sounds like a good day out. I assume that it will not clash with the other celtic jaunt. Count me in

Re: Snowdonia
If it does clash, we'll have to send in the heavies to sort young Tombo out Don't forget, the Wirral is quite close to several members.Dave Parkin wrote:Sounds like a good day out. I assume that it will not clash with the other celtic jaunt. Count me in

Talk about things snowballing from idle discussion
October is pretty tight for me, I'm in Scotland from the 9th to the 14th, but I'm sure we can sort something out.

I have found there is not much light around the Rhaeadr Du, but why not? Next to those falls, on the other side of the road, there are the falls on the Afon Gain and the Afon Mawddach which are pretty good too. Dolgellau is close by, should the TAS sub-committee wish to convene in an environment they recognise. Andrew might even fancy visiting Cymmer Abbey although there is little there. Tomen y Mur is close to the falls too. For the hill walkers, there are the Rhinogs. For the mountain climbers, there is Cadair Idris. And those able to travel 35 mins from the falls, can park their car at the Llynnau Gregennen. In short, there is plenty to do in that neck of the woods.
Keep us posted on dates.
