Looking for some accessible quarry's or open mines in striking distance of North Wilts, so I'm thinking Dorset, Somerset, S / Central Wales, etc. It's the darker stone / slate that appeals to me rather than the softer lighter sandstones.
Any ideas appreciated... and meeting on location welcomed...
