South Coast Meet Up

As alluded to by Paul in the Wiltshire meet up thread we discussed meeting up at West Wittering for a bit of coastal fun.

My thoughts on dates was towards the end of July although ideally it needs to be when our local guide, Sean is around so he can show us the sights...

Ay up.. what's goin on 'ere then, local guide?
Sounds good to me, West Wittering and area are pretty good as can be seen by Pauls rather nice images. I must say though that September would be best for me, I have to go and take pictures of swimming pools and stuff for Eurocamp around Europe over June, July and August (somebody's got to do it ). So if you and anyone else is up for Sept, shall we see what date is convenient for everyone?

So as Sean is enjoying the high life and photographing swimming pools we could organise a couple of visits to West Wittering for July and September.

So what do people think about either Sat or Sun of either weekend of the following dates?

Visit 1: 20th/21st or 27th/28th July
Visit 2: 14th/15th or 21st/22nd Sept

I'm still up for it, would probably only be able to do one of the days though.

I'm quite keen on paying an early morning return visit to West Wittering. The last dawn shoot I did I parked in a small layby near the gates to the car park. As the gates were still closed at that time in the morning I walked the mile or so to East Point. If anyone has some local knowledge and knows of a better place to meet it would be great to know.

I don't know the area so what you did last time sounds fine to me. What time would you be looking at getting there?

Hi all, sorry about the lack of communication from your friendly local Sussex neighborhood guide. Just got back from France and I have no mobile internet stuff. 27th and 28th are good for me.. in between trips. West Wittering's good, best to park out on the main road by the pub and walk down there, could meet by the pub. I'll have a look at the road name tomorrow and post.
