Just a few pictures from the weekend

This shot was taken on Velvia 100, using a polariser, an 81D, a 2CC and a glass total UV block filter to help combat the phenomenal bright blue haze that was evident on the day.
The picture is not up to much creatively but I wanted to prove that the excessive blue tendency of Velvia 100 can be tamed with the right filtering.

This second shot was taken in Selworthy village and is of the cottage used by the National Trust for their information centre.

When the weather looked like it was never going to clear, I took this shot just outside our bed and breakfast in Wambrook. It's interesting how heavy haze can force you to look for something close to photograph
