Paul

Is the mile long walk from car park to mansion a muddy one? If yes we would need to change shoes I suspect before we would be allowed inside. Just a thought.

Re: the walk from the car park ... I'm waiting for a reply from Ian BEER because I'm 99% sure that there is parking available for about 12 cars alongside the mansion itself. Just need to make sure we keep them out of (possible) exterior shots

Hello all,
Assuming reasonable weather (don't laugh), I fancy a trip to the Gower on the Thurday and Friday. If I go ahead, I'll be arriving in Stroud at 6:30 ish. Will anybody be in the area the Friday evening? Also are there any plans for the Saturday evening, with anybody staying on?
I look forward to hearing from you,
Charles

Hi Charles. I'm tied up with work all week until FRiday night so plan on getting to Woodchester Saturday morning. I think it would be a nice idea if anyone who's not in a rush to get back on Saturday night to take the opportunity for a meal? I think we'll probably be finished in the Mansion/grounds by 3.30ish (it starts to get dark  ). I'm sure there are places nearby that we can get something to eat - anyone else interested?

Hi, I’m driving down on Friday evening and staying at the Premier Travel Inn in Stroud, I’m not sure whether to stay on, I’ll see what the weathers like, but I would be interested in stopping for a meal on the Saturday evening, please count me in.

Dear Paul and others,

Would it be possible for me to join you on this workshop? I hope to be able to make it if the weather is bearable. What time do you expect people to arrive? If there's room for me (I don't know how the turnout is looking), I'll PM Paul my mobile number.

Thanks in anticipation,

Peter

Paul,

Jo, Helen and I will be coming down Saturday morning. Looks like we are staying overnight on Saturday, so meal/drink (within reason) is a go from our side.

We'll see you there.

I have arranged for us to be able to park at the rear of the mansion house but won't be able to get access through these gates until 10.15 ish. May I suggest that we meet at the car park for the mansion - at the end of the mile long walk and then we will need to go "in convoy" to the gates to be let in! Hope this makes sense?? See you there  Paul

I can have a lie in now!

As a backup to a flask, I'm bringing a single camping gaz burner and a kettle, we can't survive without our cupa's.

Thanks, Paul, for organising this - it was a great day out. I was so eager to see what I'd got that I bit the bullet and developed the B&W sheets myself  And they're not at all bad, even if I do say so myself!

And yes, I'd love a return visit :)

Lynne
