Coed-y-brenin area meet up.

Post by craigmagee » Tue Jan 24, 2012 5:15 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Anyone interested in a meet up around Coed-y-Brenin? thinking a little walk to Pistyll Cain / Rhaeder Mawddach from the nearby car parks.
Mid week would be better but could do a weekend.

You could probably make that work Muz. The Sinar might be a bit weighty to carry around but don't think we'd do to much walking.

When were you thinking of doing it?

Also is there much to see in the vicinity of the carparks??? Might bring the van and shoot some wet plate but need to park close to the action....

Maybe the 15/16/17th ?

Well the carpark closest to Pistyll Cain/Rheader Mawddach is about 10/15mins walk from each falls. There are some old mining works dotted around that are interesting quite close to the carpark. All depends what you fancy shooting. Afon Wen carpark has easy access to the river bed itself!
