Two very good images Sean. Velvia 50 may have "gone nuts" in the second one but it reminds me of the evening light we had

Looking better, not quite as green as before
Hopefully I'll get my shots processed next week. Need to take a couple more sheets of Portra to make up a batch.

Hi Folks - Film arrived back. Just to add to the thanks to Sean for arranging a good day out (the beer and food in the Red Lion good too).
Ok - the one you were all interested in :-
No ND's, Portra 160, polariser to put some detail in the water and a six stop ND filter were used. Shame the light wasnt a bit better at this time. This is my 1st long exposure on Portra - I think I guessed at adding about 6 seconds for reciprocity having nowt else to go on (has anyone ?) giving a 23 seconds exposure.

That's better Paul, they look pretty damn good now!
Very nice indeed Tim, it certainly works for me! They've put the sails back on Halnacker Windmill now so give us a shout when you fancy popping over.

Very very nice Tim, that little bit of light does indeed make all the difference.
Paul.

Here's the only shot I was happy with from the weekend, thanks to Tim for letting me borrow the 400mm:
Although I did take a few more shots unfortunately I lost 4 sheets in development due to bad bleach in the C41 chemicals.
Camera: Chamonix 045N-2 5x4
Lens: Fujinon 400/8 T
Film: Kodak Portra 160
Exposure: 1s @ f/32 2/3
