Day out to Chatterley Whitfield Colliery

I am going to see Stoke Council about allowing us in to the Chatterley Whitfield Colliery for a days shooting.

This is a disused coal mining site with four winding engines and various other buildings like the shower blocks, etc. Take a look at http://www.chatwhitfriends.org.uk/ for an idea of what is there.

If you are interested, please let me know ASAP so I can propose a few dates to the man.

Jo

Will one day be enough?

Depending on the day chosen I would be very interested in attending

I'd like to come, but it will depend on when it happens as I'm hoping to be in camper mode for most of September and October.

Hi Dave, I doubt if a week would be long enough :!: I will suggest that we might like to do both days of a weekend.

Certainly, but we shall be expecting an existentialist view of things from you. Something along the lines of, "Can a Mine really belong to anyone?"

Existentialist?! - are you trying to upset me??

Hi Joanna

I am interested but have very few available dates. If a date is fixed I will confirm.

I am interested Joanna if I can make the selected date. But I don't think that any of my images will have any deep meaning (unless we can get underground!)

:D

I have some badly under-exposed shots that will do in that respect. Anyhow, Barry, should we expect your results to be pit-i-ful or just plainly the pits?
Charles
PS count me in Joanna, if you can make it a weekend visit.

Touché.
Kierkegaard - didn't he play for West Ham?
I must go - the nurse is saying it's time for my drops.
