Yes, as well as the main gatherings I'd be interested. I usually visit Cornwall 2 or 3 times a year. The same goes for North Wales, they are both fabulous places.

I have not attended a workshop before, when will the location and date be finalised and what about accommodation? :?:

OK folks the ball is starting to get rolling. Dave Parkin will be organising this one, so listen up for further details in the next day or two.

I would guess that Cornwall has the least rain of the two and possibly more tea shops
I agree with both statements :)
Cornwall has my vote, but N Wales isn't bad either :)

Either is OK with me but it does occure to me that Wales is a much shorter journey for many of us.

Not much seems to be happening on the Spring workshop front so me and my Ebony, plus a friend and his Nikon are going down to Ilfracombe for the week before Easter. If anyone is interested in meeting up then your company would be most welcome. My Mum has already recommended the Swiss Cottage cafe should the weather be less than agreeable.
We would still be interested in a workshop at the end of April if there is going to be one.
Regs, Nigels.

Stourport-Leominster Canal

Post by IanG » Sat Mar 15, 2008 9:19 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

2nd weekend in April I've been asked to lead a small group of University students looking at the Leominster-Stourport Canal, on the edges of Worcestershire/Herefordshire.

As it's unofficial, they have asked if they could join me, so if anyone wants to join us please let me know. I've done this particular day out a few times now for various groups, it's based around part of an exhibition first shown in the very early 90's.

I'll be shooting 5x4, possibly 10x8, there won't be other serious photographers so that makes it a bit more fun :D
