I was hoping to attend, but as I currently have a very painful frozen shoulder, I left the final decision to the last moment. I was hoping it would start improving, but it's been getting worse, so I can't make it.

I had the same thing happen to my left shoulder a few years ago, that's now 90% OK. I was hoping with extra physio my right would would improve enough, no luck. I hope you all have a great time.

Just returned from a trip to Iceland so can't justify another "escape" from my better half for this workshop but hope all goes well.

Sorry to hear you can't make it Steve was looking forward to seeing you again. BTW I suffered from a frozen shoulder a while back, tried everything without success, had 2 acupuncture sessions and within a week I was back to normal. Doesn't work for everyone but worth a go.

Is there going to be a meeting place and time for the Saturday morning?
I won't be near a computer from about 4pm today, so won't be able to check further posts.

Is the plan just to look for someone with an unfeaseably large / heavy backpack?

Cheers,

Chris.

Chris, I think all those who are on Joanna's list have been sent an email with her contact details. I intend to arrive quite early on Sat morning to try and get some dawn rays (if any?) then give Joanna a call about 8.30 ish to see where everyone has decided to congregate.

Have just spotted your name CC'd on the email so I'd check your messages.

Chris, there is no set meeting place as we usually arrange small groups on the evening before, but you should have received an email and a text message from me with my mobile number. If you don't see anyone, with one eye and five legs, suspiciously lurking around, give me a call and we will attempt a rendezvous

I will be arriving in the area this evening so, if you are an early arriver, give me a call tomorrow, if you want.

Thanks Joanna, I shall endeavour to make myself obvious.
I would imagine I'll be near the water somewhere.
Or a coffee shop.

See you all on Saturday.

I didn't think I was going to be able to make it, but looks like I can make Saturday - I'll send a PM with my contact details.

Look forward to meeting you all,

Jonathan

Well I went along and had a great time. Lovely to meet so many people sharing the same passion and great to get the camera out from under the bed at last. Glad I never sold it! However, I suspect the Ebony will have to wait a loooong time :?

Thanks to Joanna for organising it and I hope I meet up with some of you again. Now I've got to get some chemicals and some more film.

I too went yesterday and had a very enjoyable (and very long) day. The company was great as was the weather 8) :D Would also like to add my vote of thanks to Joanna and Helen for organising this workshop. I don't think people realise how much effort they put into running UKLFG.

Will try and post some images ASAP

Another ditto, went along and thoroughly enjoyed myself, nice to meet so many of you at last.

Sore feet, sunburned nose and exposed sheets of film, a good day. :D

And of course, thanks go to our organisers who have put in so much effort to arrange these events and our sponsorships, you know who you are.

Enthusiasm renewed! Will post up some images if any come out

Apologies for not making it down to Maldon at the weekend. Sounds like the weather was good so I look forward to seeing lots of great images from the trip.

Have had too many weekends away recently including meeting up with a couple of UKLFPGers on the Isle of Portland last weekend. We had some decent weather too and here is one of a few successful shots from our little trip.

I also thoroughly enjoyed the day on Saturday, although challenged trying to get to grips with an unfamiliar landscape of barges, boats and mud flats....Where did you hide the mountains?

A horrendous crash halted the traffic on the M25 with nowhere to escape so I eventually got home at 5am.....but it was still worth it. A big thank you to Joanna and Helen for organising the weekend and great to meet a few other LF photographers. Thank you for making me feel welcome and for lots of helpful tips and advice.
