First results with old victorian camera

These are the first two pictures taken with my old camera, apparently is a half plate camera but I managed adapting the dark slide to take normal 4x5 negative sheet. I was expecting the swirl on the edges but I think I didn't used the whole of the frame, also the lens might not be the right one to do it.

You might have to open up the lens to full aperture to get the swirly effect.

Hi Matthew ... I used Ilford Delta 100 and processed with Rodinal special 1:100 dilution, scanned with Epson V700.
