First box of LF film all done...
First box of LF film all done...
...so I thought I'd post a few that I'm reasonably happy with.
Now these are from Belgrade and what intrgiues me about the city is actually all the non-touristy parts so I've been traipsing around under bridges, along rail siding and along the Sava river just before it meets the Danube. So, these might not float yer boat.
1. Under the Overpass
2. In the corner
3. Disussed Factory Window
4. Under Brankow Bridge
5. Rusty Ship 1
6. Rusty Ship 2
7. All Aboard
All taken with Efke PL100 film and developed in Rodinal - negatives then scanned, resized and sharpend.
I'm getting the hang of LF but still need to take a little more care with the composition.
All constructive feedback most welcome.

I like them (nice pun with the 'boat' btw) - very well done.timing wrote:So, these might not float yer boat.

I like them too.... have a lovely quality to them in all respects.
Re: First box of LF film all done...
Thanks both. These are the fav of the few that I've taken. It's quite difficult getting used to taking so few photos in a session even compared to when using the medium format camera.
I'm still a long way from having developed negs that I really like but the trick is knowing how much of that is down to the darkroom skills and how much is due to the basics of gettin the photo right in the first place.

Re: First box of LF film all done...
I meant to ask what film you used as well? sorry I mistyped my last message.
Re: First box of LF film all done...
Very good photographs, I like the way the grainy/contrasty processing matches the gritty city subject matter. Super work.
Re: First box of LF film all done...
Thanks.
Mathew, the film is Efke 100PL
