I like this one Charles! This type of shot is notoriously difficult to do well in black and white - foliage,branches,trunks etc all seem to be a similar tone and generally merge into one! A good 'un! What film were you using?

The film is ADOX CHS25. To be honest, it lacks contrast. Although the branches of this tree were 2/3 of a stop brighter than the background, I still had to ramp up the contrast in Photoshop by a LOT (+50 or something...). But it is a 25ASA film with loads of detail. Can't wait for a Delta25! Is Ilford listening?
There are a few bright trees in that area, if you're interested. Some work well in colour too. It would be nice to get a 10x8 up there and give it to professional printer to extract the most from it. Do you still have your Deardorff, Paul?
