SOLD - Tachihara 5X4

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

SOLD - Tachihara 5X4

Post by scovell001 » Wed Sep 16, 2009 3:30 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Great Workhorse camera. Superior to many other cheap field cameras as it has rear tilt whereby a lot of the Shen Hao & even the Ebony RSW & RW don't have this feature. I would say this is essential for good focusing!

2 years old. The bellows are perfect with no holes of any kind. The brass work on the body shows some oxidisation. And, just because the wood its made of is a little soft the body shows some marks too.

Comes in a Photobackpacker case.

Offers around £300 (anything considered)

Is this camera still available?

If so...

What is the min and max bellows extension? Does it have a Grafloc back and, if not, will the springs allow the focusing panel to open far enough to accept a roll fill holder? What is your lowest price including shipping to Texas, USA?
