WTB: Metal Field camera + various lenses

So I've got a 210mm on the way.
Just waiting on some pictures before getting a fujinon 135 cm-w...great lens as it's the focal length of choice for me and with a great image circle.

I'l leave the 90mm for now and concentrate on the camera.

So anyone out there with a toyo 45A or similar do let me know.

And also looking to pick up a good fuji quickload holder for my PRO 160S.

RW are currently selling new ones for £135 (limited stocks) as against the usual price of £199 each, presumably because QL film is being withdrawn in April/May this year. You pay VAT on top of that price, of course. Linky below.

You can also use a Polaroid or a Kodak for QL film. I can't imagine why anyone would want to buy a new QL holder at this stage brand new.

I have a spare Polaroid if you want one for the cost of postage.

Hi,

My fujinon 135 cm-w purchase has fallen through so anyone out there have one for sale.
I do have a line on a couple of other 135 options but the fujinon of course has the larger image circle.

If you do, please do let me know.

And no rush on the quickload...there quite a few out there used and cheap so I'll pick one of those up as soon as I've made my final choice of film (testing 160S against 160NC at the moment)

Teamwork are current offering a secondhand Schneider 135mm/f5.6 Apo Symmar, mounted in a Copal 0 shutter, for £395+VAT

I'm not sure about the movements however. I recall the Apo's (like my Schneider 120 Apo) are very compact but offer limited movements.

So that's the 135 and 210 all wrapped up.

One camera and then a 90mm to go and I'm back in business...it's only been about six months but it will be good to shoot lf again for my new work.

Also if anyone has say 5 double dark slides to offload let me know...need to be modern type in perfect working condition.

I bought 5 lenses BEFORE I ordered my camera.... RW were selling several second hand LF Nikkors off and I bought one, then decided I really wanted another....

You can buy s/h DDS's from Teamwork at £10 each via the link below. I recently bought a job lot of 5 Fidelity DDS's (from Penumbra, on eBay) which are in perfect condition, just a bit of writing on the slides. It is a lot cheaper than paying £26+VAT per DDS, new!

RW are also selling a s/h Schneider 90/f5.6 XL for £506+VAT.... however the rear element can be a pain, as other posts on the General discussion thread have pointed out.

I would sugggest contacting mpirie (Mike) and telling him you would be seriously interested in buying his Nikkor 90mm/f8 lens, or alternately ring Ffordes, who are selling one at the moment mounted in a Sinar lens panel for £399, if they could dismount it for you. If they cannot dismount it for you, I would be wary buying it as it may not be possible to dismount it!

Careful now, that one in Ffordes is in a Sinar DB mount which means it doesn't have a shutter

I know all about Teamwork and ffordes etc.
I've been in touch with Mike abut his nikkor already, but the 90mm is my third lens so I'm sorting out the camera first and then seeing what budget I have left.

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know I've picked up a camera now so just looking for those 120mm lenses as per my other post.

I'll also have a nice Nikkor 135/5.6 (no longer needed) for sale in a few days as well as a black copal schneider symmar S MC 210/5.6 to trade for a Sironar N or Nikkor W 210 also.
I'll post about those lenses seperately when the time comes.

My Toyo AFII arrived today.

On first look it seems like a great camera and immediately, although obviousely it's heavier than the wooden folders I have used, just seems more solid!
