WTB Jobo CPP-2 Processor

Hi there

I know that there are plenty of CPE-2's on eBay all the time, but what I am really looking for is a CPP-2, (although I may also be interested in a CPE-2 if anyone has got one they are thinking of getting rid of. Hopefully in decent condition and with the tanks and gear needed to process 5x4. Lift would also be a good thing.

I don`t think that the ATL 1500 will take the Expert-Drums or the 2500/2800 series of tanks and print-drums.
I have the CPA2+lift which has the same chassis as the CPP2/ATL-1, but without the extras.

Well, it definitely takes the 2500 drums (with cog drive); I'm not sure about the 2800 series but definitely not the Expert drums.

I stand corrected, therefore it should also take a 2800 series print drum with cog-drive. I use a 2800 series drum for processing two 8x10 film sheets at a time. They`re a lot cheaper to buy than the Expert-Drums although of course more limited.

I would be quite interested in that, yes. I can't find an awful lot on the net about these things, but presumably you can just plug it in to a bit of water and then it'll process the film for you on its own?

Sounds like a nice bit of kit to me... any idea what condition it's in, and what it's got with it?

Basically, you put the chemistry in the correct bottles for the desired process, put the film in the drum, select the program and start the processor. It will beep when it is finished.

The temperature is electronically controlled and the chemistry will be brought up to the right temperature, then the process starts. B&W takes less than half an hour, E6 around 40 mins. the only consideration is that B&W has to be processed at 25°C as that and 38°C are the only two temperatures selectable; but the temperature control for E6 is very accurate.

As for water supply, you can use a thermostatically controlled mains supply or, what I found easier, a 25 litre bucket, a Nova Darkroom (aquarium style) heater and a caravan pump.

I can't say what will come with any processor that you may get but mine was in good condition, cost around £200 and needed another £200 or so spending on another tank, a couple of 4x5 spirals and the odds and ends for the water supply.

I have a 4x5 spiral that I'm never going to use (I couldn't load it in the light let alone the dark )
