Fuji G617 and Fuji GX617 with 300mm lense

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

Fuji G617 and Fuji GX617 with 300mm lense

Post by David Hedley » Sat Aug 15, 2009 1:41 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

I am selling a few of my film cameras in order to fund the purchase of a digital back for a Hasselblad H2. Here are my two panoramic cameras for sale;

(1)    Fuji G617 (with a fixed 105mm lense – 6x17 cm panoramic camera, that uses 120 or 220 roll film, producing 4 or 8 exposures per roll respectively)

Complete with centre filter, manual, Fuji carrying case, and packing box. I bought this new and the overall condition is outstanding / near mint. The counter on the bottom of the camera reads 092. Looking for offers in the region of GBP1,500 (approximately equivalent to Euro 1,750, CHF 2,600 or US$2,500);

(2)    Fuji GX617 body, with the 300mm T lense – 6x17 cm panoramic camera, that uses 120 or 220 roll film, producing 4 or 8 exposures per roll respectively)

Complete with all original packing materials and manual. I bought this body and lense new from Yodobashi in Tokyo when I was living in Japan, and the condition is mint. I doubt that either the body or lense can be found in better condition unless they have never been unpacked after leaving the factory. A camera/lense that can produce extraordinary images, particularly of mountain landscapes.

I am looking for offers in the region of GBP2,000 (approximately equivalent to Euro2,300, CHF 3,500 or US$3,300) for the body and lense together, and am not willing to split. I will include a copy of the (Japanese) Fuji GX617 brochure;

All of the equipment is located in Basel, Switzerland. If you are interested and want to have a look at it, please PM me to arrange to meet up. I’d definitely prefer for a buyer to collect (who wouldn’t?), but I will ship to Europe, USA or Japan, using an insured courier with registered delivery only. I can accept payment in Paypal, or via direct bank transfer, and I won’t ship anything until cleared funds are in my bank account (which might take several days after payment). All shipping costs and any customs duty would also be for the account of the buyer.

Please PM me if you have any questions and thanks for your interest. I’d consider trading for a Hasselblad or Phase One 39 MP back (or near equivalent) which can fit my H2, or a 50-100mm Hasselblad lense.

Holy Jesus, Sweet Mother of God, forgive me St Ansel for I have blasphemed :D

I can't even use a 90mm on my 6x17 camera as it's not remotely wide enough, how on earth do you use a 300mm :) especially in the UK.
