Swap Rolleiflex tlr for large format gear

Hi All, I know that a 6x6 Rollei isn't large format but I would rather it went to someone in the UK rather than sending it abroad.

I bought this early F2.8 Xenotar a while back...It has a dent in the top lens mount that stops the aperture and shutter speed wheels and the viewing lens is a bit off axis. However it would be an easy repair for a camera technician as it only needs the dent knocked out  I doubt I will ever get round to sending it off for repair so if anyone is interested swapping with large format gear (lenses etc) then make me an offer.

I'll try to take some photos of the damage and send them to anyone interested.

Cheers Dave

Send it to Brian Micklebro and get it fixed. Rolleiflexes are great and a nice compliment to LF for those times when you want to be simple.

If you google 'Brian Mickleboro' you should find his telephone number and address (in Bishops Stortford). AFAIK he was Rollei's repair guy in the UK but he's now 'retired'. He's fixed/serviced about 4 TLRs for me and does a great job for a reasonable price. I send them via Special Delivery and talk to him on the phone, he fixes them and sends them back so that I can continue taking my rubbish photos.

At the moment I have a couple of 'T's, a 2.8C Xenotar and a 2.8F Planar, but I struggle to resist if I see a nice one going cheap ...

PM me if you need any more info.
