My now spare large tripod which has been extensively used for LF work. Rises to nearly 6ft and goes flat on the floor. Lightweight and compact when folded. Rock solid supporting 25kg. Its a 4x I think rather than the 6x of current models. Is the old style locks, not g locks and will not accept spikes. Current price for the 6x model is £574 plus the vat at RW.
Condition is used - some coating on the aluminium parts is flaking. CF is in excellent condition throughout. Functionally it all works perfectly and smoothly having been serviced 2 years ago. I thought I might need to service the locks this last winter and bought the service pack. Easy DIY change of the liners in the locks which I will include with the tripod should you want to do it yourself. Includes the spanner for tightening the bolts should it be needed (dont leave home without one !)
I have just picked up a new 3 section with g locks from a friend so will replace this one. This will have been my third 15XX series and I wouldnt use anything else for LF or pro dslr. Cant recommend them highly enough.
Looking for £275.00 which is a reasonable price having seen them change hands on ebay for in excess of £400 within the last 12 months.
