FS: 300mm Rodenstock Sironar f5.6 (Sinar DB)
Posted: Mon Jul 05, 2010 9:10 am Etc/GMT-1+01:00
by Andrew Plume
For use with the Sinar DB shutter and c/w front lens cap
Comes as expected mounted on a Sinar board, the glass (apart from a few cleaning scratches) is in outstanding condition, no chips, dings, haze fungus et al
A few slight barrel scratches but no loss of paint - if you already have the shutter, I very much believe that these DB lenses offer terrific value
I'll post photos later
£145 (obo) + shipping etc from the UK - UK residents I'll take a direct bank transfer, overseas paypal please
Thx for looking and pm me if interested
Andrew

hiya andrew, can you adjust the aperture on this manually without the DB shutter? i have an older green sinar shutter with no aperture scale and wondered if it would work with this. cheers, john

Hi John
good to hear from you
well, the answer is both 'yes' and 'no' - with a bias towards 'yes'
moving the small lever behind the lens board certainly changes the aperture - it could easily be held in place with some decent black duck tape - I see no reason at all why that will not work, the lever and the mechanism isn't heavy or heavily sprung, which would certainly help that 'approach'
let me know if interested
