wtb: (10x8 camera), 240/250/270mm lens

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

wtb: (10x8 camera), 240/250/270mm lens

Post by Marc Wilson » Fri Sep 10, 2010 12:20 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Hi guys,
over the last four months I have done lots of test shoots for my two new projects, using everyting from a lovely Leica m8 to my 5x4 gear and others in between.
Having decided the projects need large format i'm going to go further and give the larger 10x8 format a go.

If you don't try it you'll never know!

I don't want to overspend at first so am looking for cheaper end camera, a 240mm lens and at least three double dark slides. A folder would be good but monorail ok also. Lens needs to be a bright one so no f9's please.

if you're looking to sell Do let me know what you have.

Thanks,

marc

Re: wtb: going big. 10x8 camera, dd's and 240mm lens

Well I've got the darkslides and some film...

So still looking for the camera, and depending on how a meeting in the next few days goes, perhaps it could be a nice lightweight field camera so no need for any more offers of the more robust monorails please.

And the 240mm lens also...symmar-s, fujinon 6.7, etc but at the right price I'd also give a F9 Claron a go...maybe F9 wont be too dark after all!...and if it is as long as i've got it a fair price I can always sell it again...won't be the first time!

Cheers,

Marc
