Has anyone got an old epson perfection 4870, 4990, V700 mouldering away in their attic that needs a new owner. Any condition considered as not much of a budget (skint as ever). 5x4 holder would be great but I understand that they can be d i y-ed.
If you have something similar that can do the job to an equivalent standard that would be great or if you have any advice, eg just save up for a V700/750 and don't bother with the 4870 etc etc.

After some difficult begging, I have managed to scrape together £200. Would that be acceptable?
I assume you are wanting a cash on collection sale without the usual ebay hassles and it would be going to a good home where it would be loved, cherished and well used.
