SOLD: Very solid 5x7 camera + new gg - £129 !!!!

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

SOLD: Very solid 5x7 camera + new gg - £129 !!!!

if anyone has been interested in trying this very acceptable format and has been waiting for a cheapish camera to come up, then this may well be worth considering

this is not a beautiful camera but it's a very solid beast and there's no wobble anywhere here, so

brought to you from the well known Chicago camera retailer that was 'Burke & James', we have a

Rembrandt Portrait Camera 1, the features being:-

1)typical red B&J bellows which are in a pretty good condition with a few holes in the corners albeit very small indeed;
2) bellows extension of approx 360mm; (3) no front movements - hence the rigidity; (4) rear rise; (5) shift; and (6) extremely generous swing

it is what it is, namely a very solid camera for portraits and also for landscape work, although it doesn't fold

there's plenty of commentary on the web regarding this line of cameras - I've posted a couple of links below

despite selling a few 5x7's last year and another more recently, I still have more and seem unable to avoid picking them up, so this little (not so light) guy needs a new home

I'm also including a user lens board with a 62mm opening and a brand spanking unused gg courtesy of Andrew Glover ('dagor 77')

if anyone is considering the camera + filmholders, then I'll knock a little more off of the price of the filmholders that I'm also advertising on here provided that the camera is bought too

£129 seems to me to be a real steal, even though the movements are a little limited

paypal preferred please, fees if one doesn't mind to be paid by the buyer - delivery costs on top

hope to hear from someone - pm please

thx indeed for looking
