WTS: Canon EF 50mm F1.8 lens

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

WTS: Canon EF 50mm F1.8 lens

Post by Marc Wilson » Sun Mar 20, 2011 5:15 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Hi,
Not LF of course but for anyone here with a Canon dslr.
I have a spare 50mm F1.8 lens I no longer use.
Fairly new and hardly used as backup.
No box but both caps.
£75 including shipping here in the UK.

Any interest to anyone before I bother sticking it on auction site?

Thanks,
Marc

Is it the mk 1 with the metal lens mount or the mk 11 with the plastic one?

Hi Peter,
The newer mkII version hence the cheap price.
It works very well and shoots nicely at the large apertures but I have no need for it anymore.
