Re: FS: PhotoBackpacker P1 Kelty Redwing bag
I need to spend an inordinate amount of money on a bag for my lighting gear so do feel free to make me an offer on this PhotoBackpacker...first offer over a certain amount gets it!
Thanks,
Marc

Re: FS: PhotoBackpacker P1 Kelty Redwing bag
Hi Gari,
No I just bought pack only as I used it with my dakine sequence camera block and other small domke insert...so board etc was unecessary for me.
I can take a picture of inside but tomorrow.
I guess if people really want I could sell dakine camera block with it (took field camera, 3 lenses, meter, filters, etc) but that would make my dakine bag obsolete.
Calumet currently sell camera block inserts such as thsi one http://www.calumetphoto.co.uk/eng/produ ... ase/rm2201
lowepro also did inserts.

Re: FS: PhotoBackpacker P1 Kelty Redwing bag
someone asked so just checked at calumet.
suitable inserts of 4 different sizes that should fit the bag cost between £19 and £26.
so there you go.
cheers,
marc

Hi Marc, so it's just a pack then, no fittings or backboard? what makes it a "photobackpacker" Redwing other than the RPT logo?
cheers

Re: FS: PhotoBackpacker P1 Kelty Redwing bag
everything else they have done at photobackpacker.
changed shape to make squarer at top, made front flap open fully to bottom, tripod attachments, improved seams, etc, etc.
Look at their website to see what they do...I'm not their salesman!
I used my own camera insert rather than theirs simply because i liked one open divided insert over their individual box system.

Thanks for the clarification Marc.
Never thought you were, just thought you might be your own. Simply asked a question about something you were selling is all.
Regards
Gari

No problem Gari...the exclamation mark was not meant in an angry way.

Gari, PM me what kind of backpack you're after and some contact details. Sometimes there's some at the Wolverhampton camera fair (this Sunday). I paid £40 for a Tenba, with all the inserts, in April - list price new is $249. It'll take a 5x4 camera and a few lenses, DDS, roll film backs, meters etc, plus a DSLR and a Rollieflex and there's room over, plus it's comfortable
