WTB Collar for Sinar rail

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

WTB Collar for Sinar rail

Post by Charles Twist » Sat Apr 28, 2012 10:04 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

I am looking for a spare collar to go on to the rail of a Sinar - the collar that forms the conformer layer between the standard tubular rail and the clamp.
Can anyone help?
Regards,
Charles

Hi John

nothing wrong, of course, with another opinion

I was in there yesterday, as usual, Alex (Falk) was delivering his own brand of helpful and caring customer service, nothing changes, imo. If one makes the effort, there are deals to be negotiated and yes there are some fairly expensive items too. If it's parts that anyone is after, this is the place, no one else in the UK carries anywhere near the same amount of stuff nor at the same time has the knowledge

and............I have no personal or financial connection with said business

regards

Unfortunately that is the case.

Recently an item he sold me "in working order" had no inside mechanism - no refund would be given said Alex. So no more business from me.

I suggest with any item you purchase you examine it thoroughly and don't take his word for anything.
