Hi. I'm on the lookout for a replacement push-on lens cap for a Rodenstock 210mm 5.6. The cap would need to be about 62mm diameter and need not be a "Rodenstock" original - just something to protect my glass

If anyone can help the diameter is actually 60mm - same size as a push-on cap for lenses with a 58mm front filter thread

You can use a dead 58mm filter or a filter with a plastic insert in lieu of the glass. SRB do them, but a scratched UV filter in your local camera shop will be cheaper.
Personally I am looking for a front lens cap to go on the Rodenstock 135mm! Filter size 40.5mm. Anyone?

Hi Charles - unfortunately there is no thread on the rear element to screw a filter on. I've just ordered a replacement cap from Schneider that will fit!

Charles,

According to their website Kood International (www.koodinternational.com) make lens caps and it seems like they have some well known distributors....

Andrew

PS Hoya make filters for that size as I seem to remember it's the same as for my Rodenstock 150mm
