WTB: Light(ish) ballhead for 4x5

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

WTB: Light(ish) ballhead for 4x5

Post by dave_whatever » Sun Jul 08, 2012 3:12 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Afternoon all

I'm on the lookout for a decent ballhead for my second lighter tripod for use with a light 4x5 further from the car (or digital/travel).

I'm after something with an arca type clamp (or a 3/8" stud to put my existing clamp on), its got to have friction control, nice and solid, and weight ideally 450-600gm. Occasional use only so don't want to spend much over a ton fifty.

Give us a shout before I put my money on some chinese crap on ebay!

Dave

I have an old (pre Z1) Arca head that might be suitable. I'll send you a PM.

Kind regards

David

It turns out the old style arca heads are pretty heavy, so I'm still looking.
