Interest Check; Ebony SV810E

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

Interest Check; Ebony SV810E

Post by deadpan » Tue Dec 04, 2012 5:13 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

This is an initial interest check for my beautiful Ebony SV810E (Ebony Wood). together with my Photobackpacker (Kelty) rucksack, and fitted insert to house the camera, and two double dark slides.

The camera is in near mint condition (the only marks being some tripod 'swirl' marks on the titanium base plate). I bought the camera for a project, which is on hold, so although it pains me, I must sell the camera. The camera has it's original box from Ebony, and has spent it's life cased or boxed.

I'm assuming that you already know of this camera - Robert White describe it as "THE 10x8 camera", each one is hand made - 6 month waiting list - Beautiful Ebony + Titanium construction.

Robert White are currently quoting on their website £8,370. (inc VAT) and is to order from Japan only.

I'm asking around £4,500 for the Camera + PhotoBackpacker + double Dark Slides. Please let me know if you're interested - pictures available - i'm based in Suffolk/ East Anglia.

Best,
Matthew.

yes Matthew

Ebony Cameras are extremely well known to those on this forum, not sure if many have the 10 x 8 but the 4 x 5's are certainly very popular

Hi Matthew,
If still available, I wondered if you were still interested in selling your Ebony?
Regards.
