SOLD: Da Yi 6x12 (or 6x9, 6x6 or 6x4.5) Back

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

SOLD: Da Yi 6x12 (or 6x9, 6x6 or 6x4.5) Back

My photograpgy has taken a back seat for a while now, since I went back into full-time education. I've got quite a bit of LF gear I don't use any more, so I'm planning to put it up here first, to give UK LFers a chance at it before anyone else. I'll try to get it all up in the next fortnight.

First up, a back, which uses 120 film, suitable for attaching to LF cameras with an international back adapter. This adapter by default is set up to take 6x12 images, but has adapter plates which allow for 6x9, 6x6 and 6x4.5 images to be captured instead. I almost exclusively used it as a 6x9 back, and it worked very well--no light leaks, etc. Sharpness was as good as with a 5x4 darkslide, so alignment is spot-on.

These seem to retail from China for £180, and you have the issue of the wait, and customs, to worry about. I'm putting mine up for £150, incl. free basic Collect+ postage within the UK.

I have more, and bigger, images of this back available.

Happy to answer any questions you have about this back, if you are interested; send me a PM.

David.
