As a new member of this forum I introduce myself.
I live in France next to the German border. I am married and have a daughter (a second child in fall).
I own a Chamonix 4X5 and lenses from 90mm until 210mm (looking for a used fuji 300 c now).
I now mostly use my view camera and occasionally my Hasselblad for very bad weather.
I make photos of landscapes, sometimes portraits, always in black and white. Films are home cooked.
Print are made with traditional baryt paper.
I thank Joanna for her warmth welcome.
                         Christian

Re: Hello from Metz (France)
Hi Christian,
I visited Metz a few years ago and it's a very beautiful town so I'm a bit envious.
The Fujinon 300 C is a fantastic lens - sharp, light and it fits a Copal 1 shutter unlike a lot of other long lenses. I have one - but I'm not selling. Sorry.

Anyway, welcome to the forum!

Thank you joolsb for your message.
You confirm the Fuji 300c is a great lens.
I agree, Metz is a beautiful city, even if in France this particular region isn't really known for its beauty.
