I've got a Sinar hard case (the big blue one rather than the wheeled travelling \ airline case). I used to carry it round on one of the Ruxxac folding sack carts with my tripod balanced across the top. Not too bad on streets but a handful over rougher ground. Once took it all across the grass at Whitby Abbey and turned it over - not too easy to control once the fishtailing starts

Came out through the shop and down about 20 steps which wasn't easy - not doing that trick again

Well, I ponied up for a Peli 1650 - I can get all my medium format + other gear in it too: means my wife might stop nagging me to tidy my clutter up!
Also on order is a Blackjacket Mark II, thanks for the recommendations there!

Hi from another Yorkshireman. You'll like the BlackJacket altough it's big (that seems fitting somehow though). Mine was dipping in a stream at the Chevins nr Otley today, I might have to get a mini cloth for low level wet shots.
