After a unexpected phonecall from Joanna this morning, I've come on here to say hello. I've been shooting Large Format for six months now on an Ebony SV45TE and have since bought a 45SU - not sure how that happened.
Still, that aside I've had a good few trips round over the last six months or so, not all of them on my own, and I'm looking forward to some more.
Anyone fancy taking some industrial dilapidation shots around Birmingham?

Hi Paul ... I can tell you exactly how you got your hands on the 45SU
I'm free from Monday 13th July until 24th August and can nip up to Brum quite easily! Have you got anywhere specific in mind as I don't know the area?

Well I guess that depends what you are in the mood to photograph - there's a decent amount of variety around in terms of dilapidated industrial stuff, some nice architectural bits and bobs and an extensive canal network.
Not much in terms of nice landscapes, but I'm in need of a bit of variety I think.

Welcome Paul (such a common name) and congrats on the SU, there's no need to share Tim's now!

I didn't share Tim's I don't think - I'd barely gotten to grips with my own without overcomplicating things coveting someone else's!

Ok, so who decided to form the UKLFPG (UK LF Paul Group)?
Just let me know what transpires on the get-together front. I enjoy a bit of dilapidation, industrial or otherwise

As you know I am also in Birmingham. Congratulations on your Ebony. A great friend indeed! Look forward to meeting up soon. I am also around July/August and would enjoy an informal get together.
All the best,
Jenny
