I have been lurking for some time, but now that I have started using my 10x8 and with the prospect of a trip to Iceland thought I had better join up.
Live in Helmdon - Near Silverstone Race Circuit. Use a Walker Titan SF (5x4) and a Gandolfi Variant with matching wooden Gandolfi tripod (10x8, 7x5 and 5x4)- old but sound and versatile , bit like me! The tripod looks like a Meccano set but is surpringly good.
I also have an old MPP wich I occasionaly use with the frame finder, rangefinder with a flash attached 'WeeGee' style.
Just finished building my Darkroom complete with a 10x8 Devere in the corner and I am busy building up a set of 10x8 negs for winter printing.

Many Thanks for the welcome.
Great blog by the way - the kit list for Iceland has wetted my appetite even further, negotiations continue - but if confirmed how do I book my place?
I also liked your article about the Orbital Processor. Wish I had read it before I 'Bodged' mine with messy blobs of superglue - but it does work faultlessly at 10x8 in giving even processing - though I consider the motor base essential.
