Hi All,
I registered a few weeks back and omitted to post here (scuse my lack of etiquette). Have been hillwalking and camping around the west of Scotland for a wee while now and recently decided I should photograph it as well. Found my way to large format through an American forum and now pleased to find there's a UK one as well. Expect novice questions for a while as I get to grips with camera movements and jobo drums.

Regards,
Mike

If you need help with movements and can get to Glencoe for New Year viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1416, Paul Owen will be there and is always open to share his expertise.

Thanks for the tip. Family commitments rule this one out but I'd be happy to meet fellow LF users in the coming year where possible.

Hi Mikey

Welcome to the LF world.

I live in Wishaw, Lanarkshire - if you're interested meeting up somewhere on a weekend let me know.

Best Regards

Hi Eddie,
Have just seen your message, not having looked in for a few days. Thanks for the invite, I'll keep it in mind once the arctic conditions are definetely over.

Regards,
Mike

Hi Mikey

See you around the end of June, then...

I'm trying to do an outing at least once a month this year. Generally a Sunday - venue selected the day before and usually based on the forecast (I wish they were accurate). Always open to suggestions.

Best Regards

Hi Eddie,
I currently work a continental shift pattern meaning I'm off work nearly 50% of Sundays. Likewise open to new places as I seem to be visiting the same few locations of late.

Regards,
Mike
