Hello from Denmark

Post by pergorm » Tue Jun 01, 2010 9:44 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Hello UKLFPG!!

I live in Denmark and have only recently ventured into LF-photography. I have been an amateur photographer since i as a young boy looked over my grandads shoulder and saw the picture developing in the tray. I was hooked and there was no way back!! :D
12 month ago i took the plunge and bought a used Wista 45 and a Durst L1200 with the VLS 501 head. The VLS-head is now replaced by condensor-light that i like better. I have three lenses for the Wista, 90, 150 and 240 mm Schneiders.

LF-photography is a completely different thing from my previous 35mm Nikon and 6x7 Pentax. Earlier success rate was 20% max. Now i am closer to 50%!!. And i have only just started. Looking forward to bothering you guys with a lot of stupid questions in lousy english!!

Hello, as from one very recent newbie to this forum, welcome indeed

A Technical Field Wista that you have is an interesting start - they, to me, seem to be very well built and engineered

Teamwork Photo in the UK (Foley Street, London W1) are I believe the main UK Agent for Wista products inc the SP - if needed they can access any of the additional accessories that you may require. Teamwork are fine people and come highly recommended by me. Sorry I cannot post a weblink as some of my IT related skills are fairly useless

Regards

Andrew
