Welcome Frederick, just strap yourself in for when you see a 5x4 transparency on the lightbox!

Hi Frederick,
I'm just over the water, in Dalgety Bay.
I use the same Shen Hao too.
I've literally just moved up here, and I don't have any of my camera gear with me, but if you fancy meeting up at some point in the future, just drop me a PM.
Cheers,
Chris.

Re: Hello from Edinburgh
sweet ok man, i dont have the hang of it yet, but when i do ill give you a shout:)
by the way - i just ordered red bellows from shen hao, i had seen them on shen hao cameras on the camerachina website, but wasnt really sure about them as a company, very little on net about them, but they look awesome. so i mailed zhang fuming, and they work out at 50 quid with delivery. theyre on the way:) certainly as a bit of glamour to the camera, although everyone who has seen it has said how well crafted it is, and i thought i had the cheapo version:)

Hi Frederick, welcome to the stimulating world of LF photography. Once you really get into it I think you will find it extremley satisfying.
Just returned from a 4 day stay in beautiful Edinburgh - went to see the Edward Weston exhibition at the City Art Centre. Seeing Weston's stunning contact prints just blew me away.

Re: Hello from Edinburgh
The Weston exhibition is IMO a must see. The work he was producing during the late 1920's until his last work, 1948, is I feel his finest. Leaving aside subject matter which is subjective, the quality of his prints is about as good as it gets.
The exhibition runs until 24th October 2010 - 115 prints over 2 floors.
