Greetings from Bonnie Scotland
Hi All.
Just saying hello. It's nice to find an LF forum with a UK focus. I'm based in south east Scotland, and mostly use 35mm, along with the occasional roll of 120 in one of my old folders. I"ve had an MPP monorail for a while, but haven't used it much so far, partly due to not having something sensible to transport it in, and because my tripod and head didn't quite feel up to holding a 5kg camera. I recently got an old surveyor's tripod and made an adapter plate so that I could fit my Manfrotto leveller-thingy. I also managed to find a spare rail for the camera (only one I've ever seen in a year and a half), which I plan to shorten so that I get something more compact. My main interest with LF is landscapes, and I tend to prefer shorter lenses - got a 150mm, and will have 90mm Fujinon fairly soon, so a short rail should be fine. I have some time off work at the end of April, so I hope to get out and give everything the shakedown test then.

Hi Nomad, I'm based up in Fife.
Where abouts are you then?
I've a preference for landscapes too, so perhaps we can meet up some point.
Chris.

Hi Chris.
I'm in West Lothian. I dare say a little meet could be done at some point. Any others in our area?

Hi Nomad,
I seem to remember there was someone in the Stirling area.
I'd be up for a meeting at some time, but best leave it until the summer as I'm busy buying a house at the moment so things are hectic to say the least!

I haven't been doing much LF for a while, but am just getting back into it again.
Would be good to meet up.
