Hi Everyone, submitting a new message to introduce myself. Based on the edge of North Yorkshire near Yarm, I'm pretty new to the world of LF so hopefully this is the place to gain plenty more knowledge. There are a few familiar names that I already know but hopefully will get to know others over time and the occasional get together.

theres lots of us in the NE, as I found out when I joined a couple of weeks ago.Charles thinks theres eough of us to meet as a NE chapter... Sounds a bit like the Hells Angels..But like riding a motor bike riding Large format is FUN

North Yorkshire, ha! You're from Teesside, surely. Welcome to the group from sunny Saltburn. It's good to know there are other LF'ers around. I'll start a thread on the main board to see how many NE-erners we have.

According to the local Postie as I live south of the Tees its North Yorkshire, but then again what do I know, I only moved over here a couple of years ago from wet & grey Lancashire so I'll go with Teesside in future

Like the sound of Hells Angels but with LF cameras, I've always thought there isn't enough leather in the world of photography these days.

I imagine the posh folk of Yarm would not want to be associated with the rough folk of Teesside.
Lancashire? Ah well, that's far better than Yorkshire and any part thereof. I'd go with that.
