Hello from Essex and London
Hello LF Peeps,
Greetings from darkest Essex (Ingatestone) and London. (A bit 2-centred while the London house is being sold).
Mid-life crisis manifesting itself - not in the need to buy sports cars and get my ears pierced - but in the strange desire to get into 8x10 photography! Think this will be a very good place to start.
All the best,
John

Re: Hello from Essex and London
Welcome to the nut house John. Can relate to the mid-life crisis bit... would still rather have a 5x4 or 10x8 to a sports card any day!

Re: Hello from Essex and London
Thanks for the warm welcome Paul.
LOL - I think you're right. I got the sports car mid-life crisis over with early. Now that I'm 10 years older (and a lot poorer) I'm hoping that even an 8x10 will be cheaper to run! Hopefully more environmentally friendly too...
Cheers, John

I've just got a new Mini Cooper and my nice big Belebach doesn't fit in the boot area with the head on - but I can just get the 10 x 8 outfit in including a little trolley.Paul Mitchell wrote: Mmmm.... you're right Joanna... can just picture a nice big Berlebach and a Gandolfi on the back of an old Morgan

LOL - In the past year I've downsized from two cars to no cars, so I think I'd better hit the gym as it's going to be brute force and public transport until I get seduced by the dark side again and get another car!
Though I do like that mental image of that photographically adorned Morgan! Pure retro-class.
