From the sunny but cold aegean winter. Currently based in Western Turkey but will probably be working in Greece later in the year.
Looking for a LF darkroom for ocassional rental, must be at least 5x4 but hopefully and highly unlikely 10x8
Another APUG member, I notice it's a growing group.
Have a background in commercial photography, including emulsion manufacture & working as a photo chemist. Been using LF for 30 years, finally moving up to 10"x8" at the end of 2004

Hi Paul,
South Wales is such an interesting area, I've only made one LF image there and it happened to be my first ever 10"x8" camera image, I only shot one sheet that day and it was perfect
Blaenrhondda of course.
Most of my photography in Wales has been Snowdonia and the Lleyn Penninsula.
Great country for image making

There's a place in western Turkey I drove past in a bus which just cried out to be photographed, unfortunately I was unable to stop, and it was the wrong time of day anyway.
It was on a trip between Marmaris and Ephesus, and the guide told me the name of the place was "Gokbel". There's nothing there, no town or anything, it's just a mountainous region with all these odd standing up rocks. Would be fantastic at sunrise/sunet.
Welcome to the group!
