Hello from West Scotland
Just acquired my first view camera, a wonderful piece of engineering in mahogany and brass dating to probably 1902/3. It is a half frame camera with a Thornton Pickard Time and Instant shutter and a CP Goerz 180 f6.3-f64 lens with a serial number dating back to 1902/3.
I have been into photography since the start of high school in the mid 70's, but rarely ventured beyond the 35mm format, occasionally using my dad's 6x6 TLR and a recently acquired 1948 6x6 Rolleiflex. I predominantly shoot digital these days (hobby and commercial), but very much enjoy taking a film camera out for a spin when in a 'nostalgic' mood.
I hope to restore my new acquisition soon, so I can give the camera a try.

welcome Marc
welcome
a lovely little beast there - don't overlook the fact that all Goerz lenses are convertibles - so....if you wish, you can remove the front element and see what you can do with the rear only
regards

Re: Hello from West Scotland
Thanks for the welcome guys.
While still restoring my first view camera with the help of IanG, I actually bought three more. Won a box of treasures in a local auction. I just took delivery of my first 4x5 film and hope to give the Sanderson a spin this afternoon or tomorrow. Unfortunately, I only got one working film holder with it, limiting me to only two shots in the field.
