Hello large camera people - met 3 of your gang on Saturday photographing our well known local landmark - the lighthouse in New Brighton.

Hi to Joanne, Tom and Helen?.

I have 6x9 / 5"x4" format Arca and must blow the dust off it - its a camera I keep meaning to take out but always seem to find a reason to take an alternative. Perhaps if I meet up with some of your members I may actually use it.

Its nice to see film still alive and kicking - in my local camera club Wallasey APS I am becoming a dinosaur as I still use the stuff. Whats the point in changing to digi when the camera's that I use suit me.

I do however scan many of my images plus maintain our clubs web site - www.wallaseyaps.org so I am not anti digi in case my earlier comments appeared that way.

By for now :) :)

I must concur: Helen 2, Jo 1. Sorry Jo - I know what your picture means to you and it is good, but the other team was better on the day.

..Aaahhh, I didn't quite understand how competitve this was within UKLFPG - it maybe explains some comments re males and females...- Personally, I don't feel the need to compete as either one gender against another, or one photographer against another, I like to take images to please myself, but if it floats your proverbial boat...
