Hello from West Wales

Hi everyone,

I have just joined only a matter of weeks after acquiring my first LF camera - a Horseman 45FA. apart from the strange looks from people ( which I used to get for merely using "FILM" !) it has been enjoyable but quite daunting.

I have picked up a lot of useful info on the site and thank you all for the openess that appears to exist, a nice change from some of the forums I have subscribed to.

How do I get on the " participants " page?

hello Jon,welcome to the site(or rather croeso).i'm bassed close to Caernarfon,working 100% with film.new to l/f(18 months or so).totally differance to anything else.would be nice to meet up with you guys.some really nice location around your area,like the black mountain,especially in the winter time.

Unfortunately deepest darkest Carmarthenshire is beginning to run me short of inspiration. The West Wales coast is good though !

Hello JON ? I have hoped someone would mentioned wales for a photo shoot for day or two out ,there are several of us up in this area ,who could reach the welsh areas north wales or such sites anybody care to comment?? Tom,G

Mind you I am planning to get to the next one anywhere as i am keen to learn more ( about tea shops primarily !)
