Have been lurking here for a few weeks but thought now was the time to introduce myself, especially as I am now a proud owner of a new LF camera.

I started photography while at art college in the 70's, after leaving college I continued to take images for the next few years then stopped completely for the next 20. Have recently been bitten by the bug again, starting off with a DSLR, then re-discovered the joys of using film again with medium format and now LF.

Will no doubt be posting newbie questions about lenses etc. in the near future.

Best regards

Paul

Welcome Paul.

I guess you are near Burnham Beeches? Great for the Autumn colours.

Paul, a belated welcome, not sure how I missed your post earlier.

I visit Burnham Beeches every now and then as its not far from me, and often at Autumn. On the last visit I noticed the small cafe on the edge of the woods had gone, shame.

May we all have better weather and light in the new year.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I am fortunate that Burnham Beeches is at the end of my road so can be there in 5 mins. The cafe you mentioned Steve was called the 'Dell' and was run by the same chap for over 30 years, unfortunately he retired last year, the powers that be then decided to build a bespoke visitors centre and cafe at another location.

As I know the area quite well, I might suggest a day trip there next Autumn for anyone that lives near.
