I recently fell into this forum whilst doing a web search for a repair shop! Since all the usual suspects are already registered here I thought I should join too. For the half of you that have had the good fortune not to have met me before, a brief introduction is in order.
Although born a Kentish Man I now live close to the middle of England and have been dabbling with LF on and off for a few years, first with a Speed Graphic and more recently an Iston field. At the start of this year I decided to do things properly and therefore acquired a Shen Hao TZ45 and a trio of lens. I must say that I’m very impressed with the build quality of the camera, it’s a pleasure to use, and I’m enjoying playing with it. With your help I hope get the most out of it.

Welcome Dave, usual suspects, I don't know who you are talking about?

:D

Congratulations on your Shen Hao acquisition, they look very nicely made. I look forward to seeing some prints.

Best regards

Barry

Welcome David,

The Large format world is small - the tech savvy, internet particpating large format world is all here :-)

Are you a member of the internet publishing large format fraternity? (i.e. do you have a website?)

Tim

Thanks for the welcome Tim. Yes, I do have a website accesable above, but there's only one large format image posted on it.
I must get around to updating it.

The Glendelaugh pictures are really nice. As are the Whitby ones and your Atget'esque Tower Bridge..

Thanks Aynsley, I'm here to learn.

Sandeha, yes it is nice; far too nice to take it outside. But it must be done.
